چکیده

In this article we provide a formal framework for reidentification in general. We define n-confusion as a concept for modelling the anonymity of a database table and we prove that n-confusion is a generalization of kanonymity. After a short survey on the different available definitions of kanonymity for graphs we provide a new definition for k-anonymous graph, which we consider to be the correct definition. We provide a description of the k-anonymous graphs, both for the regular and the non-regular case. We also introduce the more flexible concept of (k, l)-anonymous graph. Our definition of (k, l)-anonymous graph is meant to replace a previous definition of (k, l)-anonymous graph, which we here prove to have severe weaknesses. Finally we provide a set of algorithms for k-anonymization

P-Sensitive K-Anonymity for Social Networks

— The proliferation of social networks, where individuals share private information, has caused, in the last few years, a growth in the volume of sensitive data being stored in these networks. As users subscribe to more services and connect more with their friends, families, and colleagues, the desire to both protect the privacy of the network users and the temptation to extract, analyze, and u...

Local synthesis for disclosure limitation that satisfies probabilistic k-anonymity criterion

Before releasing databases which contain sensitive information about individuals, data publishers must apply Statistical Disclosure Limitation (SDL) methods to them, in order to avoid disclosure of sensitive information on any identifiable data subject. SDL methods often consist of masking or synthesizing the original data records in such a way as to minimize the risk of disclosure of the sensi...

Moreover, confidentiality regulation requires that privacy of individuals represented in the re...
